At Sandyholme Holiday Park, there are a number of facilities on the park. There is a park reception with a small shop and a range of products for sale including drinks, ice cream and local product. There is a seating area with benches outside with views over the meadow. There is a wildlife lake with a range of ducks and geese, which is a great place to enjoy a picnic. Next to the wildlife lake there is a playing field with football goals and next to that a children’s play area, which is a safe space to climb the wooden tower and play on the swings and slide.
Close to Sandyholme, there is Kate’s Farm Shop and a petrol station and a co-op convenience store. The coast at Ringstead Bay is just 5 miles away and the county town of Dorchester and Brewery Square are 7 miles away with a whole range of places to eat, shops and supermarkets. There is beautiful countryside and a network of lanes and rivers surrounding Sandyholme and some of the best attractions in Dorset nearby, including The Tank Museum and Monkey World. Tadnoll Nature Reserve is just a 30 minute walk from the park.
