Touring & Camping
The touring and camping areas at Sandyholme are set in a peaceful location, a large area of land surrounded by farmland and the River Frome. This is the perfect place for those who wish to enjoy a very quiet and relaxing holiday in the countryside watching the wildlife and nature. The river Frome is great for fishing and the nature area on park is wonderful for children and bird enthusiasts.
Gravel pitches
There are 2 different sizes of gravel pitches 6 x 7 metre and 5×7 metre gravel base, suitable for touring vehicles and motorhomes, they all come with electric hook ups and have an adjacent car parking space.
Grass pitches with electric
These grass areas come with electric hook ups and can be used by tents, touring vehicles and motorhomes, with an adjacent car parking space.
Grass pitches
This is a meadow only used for camping, with amazing views of the countryside.
There is a clean and modern shower and toilet block, a laundry room, washing up area and disabled facilities. Also on park is a shop selling the essentials and little indulgences, there are WIFI areas, a children’s play area and a nature area known as the Duck Pond.
Extra information
Advanced bookings are essential during peak periods and a minimum of 3 nights applies. Unfortunately Gazebos are not permitted and it is recommended that customers with large RV’s phone in advance, due to a limited number of suitable pitches.
